You may have noted that I speak of the “Fashion” as an “Ecosystem”, as well as reference the term “cradle to cradle”, and not simply the #fashiontech elite… simply put you cannot sell local fashion if you do not have local manufacturing and manufactures will have nothing to produce if consumers have no faith in the quality of locally produced garments. On the other end if no one can pay for your marketing social commerce and services will mean nothing .
www.Lawrencepizzi.com will be fresh of New York Fashion Week technical production for a major International Luxury Label and brings his expertise as a designer, a professor at several New york Institutions and his experience as an owner of a luxury label. Local designers will gain insight as how to manage quality control Line production and communicate their needs effectively.

This Studio Workshop of the BKstylecode is focused on understanding fashion, business and tech, how they work together and how to leverage them to build your brand.
The Studio Workshop is designed as a hands-on guide to empower the local designer in the management of their line. For others it ‘s an opporunity to engage in the process first hand and truly understand what is entailed!

The hands-on experience is gained by designing a conceptual line, whose patterns are then open sourced to the community for commercial use, thus avoiding creative and privacy concerns that prevent some local brands from participating in vitally needed training. This format will also provide basic blocks and patterns for participating labels to build upon.
